something occurred to me the other day

It occurred to me just spontaneously the other day while I was making lunch that my cat Simon reminded me of Groucho Marx for some reason I couldn't exactly put my finger on.

I did some photo analysis and now I see it. I guess it's just been subconsciously brewing for the 8 months or that that I've had the kittens.

So I bring you:

Might be the slightly crossed eyes, but I do see the resemblance.

That picture is about a month old or so. I think in that time his little "eyebrows" have become a bit more pronounced. They also stand out a bit more from a bit farther away than that picture was taken. So I think it's a bit more pronounced now than in that pic even. But it's hard to get him to sit still long enough to take a pic when he's awake, so that's one of the rare ones. It's also why I don't yet have a comparable picture of River.
