Sarah Palin resigned. The people of Alaska may be pissed/pleased depending on their perspectives. Personally, I find it pretty damn rude of someone to take an oath to work for the people of a state, and then change their mind because it's hard ( Read more... )

I had similar thoughts, but in my version she wants to take over the GOP from within. It would be the proper extrapolation of the direction they've been going in for the last 28 years. And the more successful she is, the more the national GOP will suffer. And I'll be watching the fun. With popcorn.
