More 'Death of Darwinism' mumbo jumbo

I was scoping out Answers In Genesis today, after reading about the Cincinatti Zoo debacle over on Pharanygula, and found that they too have Anti-Darwin plans for 2009. I guess we shouldn't be suprised. But for people who think his work is flawed, they sure do pay a lot of attention to it ( Read more... )

When I heard about the Cicinnati Zoo/Creation Museum partnership, I fired off an angry letter to the Zoo's education department asking what the hell they were thinking. Didn't get a reply, but the Zoo had redacted the partnership so soon after I voiced my objections that I didn't really expect one. I did write a second letter expressing my delight that cooler heads had prevailed.

Edit: I think it's hilarious that fundamentalist Muslims and fundamentalist Christians have so much in common, including their intense hatred for one another.

Also: It probably won't make much difference in this case, but I learned of a way to link to creationist (and any other) Web sites without giving them credit for the link with Google (which as you probably know uses links to determine priority in reporting search results), using the 'rel="nofollow"' tag, like this:



I've started to revise all my entries about pseudoscience and creationism to include this
tag.
