Zimbabwe sanctions... or not

Have a look at the following BBC news article:

Now consider this. South Africa had sanctions imposed (and rightly so) because a legally elected government was oppressing part of its population. Zimbabwe doesn't have sanctions ( Read more... )

Dear me, it's the White Man Guilt.

They're okay with picking on white men beating up blacks, that's okay, there were wars fought over it and all, right?

But the thought of them being the white men beating up blacks, even if those blacks are worse than the whites they punished earlier, makes them go squick.

(Note: I dislike the terms 'white' and 'black' intensely. However, it's how they think, so... y'know.)

((Also, there is probably an arguement that no-one out of africa really trades with them anyhow...~))
