Movies and rules
A very interesting, if tiring day on the movie set yesterday. We were filming "Krakatoa", a BBC docu-drama thingy.

Basically, the five of us in the band just assumed that we were far more important than the rest of the extras. We would relax in the shade until the main actors came out. We ate real food. We took over the producer's(?) office. In general, we behaved as if we were the most important people on set and were usually treated as such.
As Terry Pratchett puts it, "If you ignore the rules, half the time people will silently rewrite them so that they don't apply to you."
