Aussies to ban swearing.

Aside from the fact that it won't stand up in any court of law, isn't that kinda like trying to ban breathing down there?

The Law has been there for a long time. This just allows an "On-the-Spot" fine(1) instead of requiring a court appearance.
(1) "On the Spot" fines may either be paid within 30 days, or the recipient may elect in writing to have the matter heard by a court for a plea of not guilty.

Yep. We have a law for everything. It's just what they choose to enforce.
