Indiana Jones and the Proper Archaeological Expedition

On a completely unrelated note, would someone please tell me there's a fanfic out there where circa late-1920's/early 30's Indy meets with Ramses Emerson? Because I don't want to write it myself, and it would be well worth reading not just for Ramses getting back into the Great Game but for Prof. Walter Emerson proceeding to verbally bitchslap ( Read more... )

I haven't seen anything like that, but if you run across it, please announce it loudly.

Ramses is one of my alltime favorite fictional heroes (right up there with Miles Vorkosigan), and you are so right about Indy and Emerson. Indy would make Wallis Budge tolerable [g].

Seconded.

Although I suspect that Emerson would merely be the warm-up act for what Peabody would do to the poor man.

I think there's a Kage Baker short story with Cyborg Lit Preserver Lewis asisting Emerson. There was a tutu involved. I'll check for sure...

The story is called The Queen in Yellow, and it's in the collection I don't have, Black Projects, White Knights. Thinking about it though, it's probably not Emerson. I think the archeologist is an actual "historical guy".

But the tutu was damn funny.
