Actually, David, this is the best place you could ever have come to. I mean, really, things in Mayberry just don't get to the point that you'd ever SEE the Hulk.

Can't blame the poor guy for being skittish. :) And the climax I had in mind involves him wanting to Hulk out.

Yeah, I can only imagine the hulk coming out in Mayberry to do something like stop a runaway car from hitting a kid or dig out someone when a trench at a construction site collapses. Followed by a brief period of shock after which everyone agrees that nope, David certainly didn't turn green and therefor there's no reason for the sheriff to call in a sighting of either a green creature or missing scientist.
