"These are a Few of My Favorite Riff-ings...", Part One

In no particular order, these are my favorite episodes of Mystery Science Theater. It shouldn't be much surprise that they lean towards the sci-fi end of the scale. As a preference, I like episodes with enough action to actually be slightly engaging, though of course still worthy of Joel/Mike and the bot's derision.

SCCtM remains vivid for me, definitely - such a perfectly bonkers premise, executed comedically badly. ^_^

BTW, have you seen the Mystery Fandom Theater 3000 productions? patch_bunny can tell you more about them, if not.

Overall, I might still plump for Pod People as my overall favorite. As Dr Forrester declared on delivering the experiment, "It has nothing to do with pods, it has nothing to do with people. It has everything to do with hurting."

I hadn't heard of MFT3K. I'll have to check it out. Sounds similar to a program that specialized in anime shows at Otakon
