Given everything I've heard and learned about him, he'd be terribly disappointed with their actions (and likely nearly as disappointed with the actions the humans made that made the groupmind think this was the best solution). But then he'd forgive them and try and find out how to make the best of the situation.

If we've had any true saints in America, Fred Rogers was one of them. If he isn't, the word has no meaning.

*fsnork*

I came up with something a few years back.

Once upon a time there were three brothers.

Anthony was a pilot and a daredevil, forever looking for something new. He disappeared a while back, but he always turns up eventually.

Steve was kind of a runt, but he joined the Army, and they made a man of him.

The third brother attended seminary, then got a job in PBS. The Rogers family doesn't talk about Fred.

Fred, at least, seems to have dodged the family curse involving ice.
