I have this same trouble with action films, whether 3D or no. I saw Tron:Legacy this weekend in 3D and only had trouble in two small spots. I don't want to spoiler you but if you want to know what those two places are you could message me on LJ and I could tell you so you'd be prepared. And I *think* I can tell you without giving too much of the plotline away.
