I have 119 friends in my friends' list and watch over 30 communities. Despite it, my f-list is never longer than 40 posts a day ... which is ... nice. I used to be so overwhelmed by my f-list that whenever I couldn't read it for say, a weekend, I eventually decided to give up and not try to find out if I had missed something interesting. Going

The newsletters are thorough in their fic coverage, so I find that's enough for me.

I know. I follow three: a weekly one for the DC fandom, a monthly one for HP Snupin, and a daily digest for crossovers only. The rest of my fandoms are so small that there's never more than two posts a week for each of them.

Except for the Ninja Turtles and the House MD ones. I stopped following them, completely, except for what my LJ-friends write.
