Real Life vs Fandom!

When I need proof that real life surpasses fiction, ta-da! Hugo Chávez happens (here is in Spanish). Careful, it might make no sense! The first link, because it was automatically translated thanks Google, and the original in Spanish version ... well, because it makes no sense. What is this? Some of you might know that Hugo Chávez, Venezuela's ( Read more... )

And if that particular statement doesn't take Communisim one step further (think the old Soviet Union, or, more importantly, Mao's Little Red Book!), then nothing will.

WHEN is this joker going to die?

I was all 'Hell, yes!' when the King Juan Carlos told him to shut his mouth up earlier this week. And when Carlos Fuentes (a famous Mexican writer) said, when questioned about it, 'Finally, somebody did it!', I acctually applauded him.

I was all 'Hell, yes!' when the King Juan Carlos told him to shut his mouth up earlier this week. Heh. I'm in Spain right now and "¿Por que no te callas?" is, like, the cool thing to say to your friends now. lol. My señor said Chávez is a cunt. Brilliant all around.

Have you been around Youtube? My brother says me that there are a lot of music clips about the topic, in many different styles =P.

"¿Porqué no te callas?" is much better than what Mexico ex-president Vicente Fox once said to Fidel Castro, because he didn't want to have Bush and Castro together around: "Comes y te vas."

I'm having trouble believing that's real. It just sounds so very odd.

Okay, so Cameron would be upset by this and start crusuaidng against it. She's wear little buttons on her lab coat and House would mocker her for playing into Oliver Twist.

I didn't believe it either. Only heard about it until Monday, and it actually came from a radio program -- then found the article I link (it's the only one, so far). They are also saying that the Government will be the one to decide what does every child study/be prepared for. IOW: they'll be able dictate their lives. I haven't actually read the document (it is not available on the net), so most of it could be chalked as overreactive interpretation from those who have been able to see it.

As for the fandom, House MD especifically: I think there might be two ways to include this. Either it happens in the past-USA thus screwing up AU!House and AU!Wilson even more; or it happens in a AU future-USA, while House and Wilson are thinking about adopting a baby.

Is Cameron still in Season 4? I haven't seen any episode, and haven't read about them either ... other than the 'I love you' bit, that is =).

Yep, Cameron, Chase, and Foreman are still around. {spoilers}

Cameron is turning into the go to for the future fellows when they need help handling House. Foreman is overseeing House and his perspectives, and Chase is sort of popping up once in awhile to ref between Cameron and Foreman or plot with House.

They look to Cameron for help?! What about, you know, the best friend Wilson?

*is angry*
