Butt-Stomping!

Obama stomped butt in my home state. 56% to 44% in Wisconsin. (My second home state, where I lived for a while, but was home to each of my parents, of course was Illinois, so, you know, not unexpected.) But Wisconsin did me particularly proud tonight.

Pennsylvania, my home state, whupped butt, too. It was the first big one to go to Obama. Needless to say, there will be gloating phone calls tomorrow to my parents. NEEDLESS TO SAY. Since I know they both voted McCain.

Yes, gloating is important in these sober times.

Hopefully, I'll find out if my vote had any effect sometime tomorrow morning. Right now there's only a 400 vote difference between Obama and McCain. But in some precincts they were still voting at ten local time -- three hours after the polls officially closed.
