Oh, please don't delete the comm. I found a photo that had been 'lost' for years on here just the other day.

I can mod it, probably mirror it to DW so it can continue to be a resource, regardless of the fate of LJ. I've got to get cracking on migrating my own stuff to DW anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that you will be deleting your account also. I have a lot of history with LJ and it saddens me to see it all go to smash.

Send me an lj message with details if you want me to do it.

Hi there -- you and I are on the same page! I realized earlier today that I could port comms over to DW just like I ported my own journal, so I've been checking into migrating this to Dreamwidth. The trouble is that someone took the community name years and years ago and the owner hasn't been on DW since 2010. I've sent her a message already and will go from there. Worst case scenario is that I'll create a new comm on DW with a similar name and transfer this over there.

I won't delete the community over here, promise. I'll get back with you in a few days about moderating/owning, and thanks!

I don't have the time or skill to take over moderating the community, but I've enjoyed and appreciated it over the years and wanted to thank you for your work with it.

Thanks! I have to admit I didn't have much to do, as the membership fell off (not just here but all over LJ) a few years ago. I came on because the other mods left and spammers were starting to take over, so I was very glad to save the comm from being overrun.
