Love the double-rainbows! I'd love to see them. Do you like the new Coldplay? Summers are rough on me because I'm a bit OCD about music and it seems all my artists release stuff in the summer so I spend considerable time listening to all the music and trying to analyze but of course it takes some time. On an initial listen of Viva la Vida I don't like it as much as A Rush of Blood to the Head.

It was quite a sight - and it got more and more vibrant and intense over the course of 5 or 10 minutes...so awesome!

I do like it - its a new direction for them, which is cool. Personally, I love the music more than the vocals--I'm having a hard time deciphering a lot of the lyrics and vocals and I'm kind of annoyed by it. I really loved the last album, so this is going to be hard to top. (Same for Mraz, I loved his sophomore album and I think his more recent release just doesn't hit the same spot for me.)

I'm also enamored with a few other artists, you may know of them but in case you don't: Duffy, Adele, Hilary McRae, Anouk, and Roisin Murphy.

I've noticed recently that I rarely truly focus on the lyrics to music unless I just love the song itself. I feel ashamed to admit it because I relish music almost as much as I do math and boast a very hefty eclectic collection. It's so strange for me...almost OCD: I'll spontaneously (most of the time) decide to adopt an artist and buy every album they've made. Coldplay was a referred to me by Briney, actually and were no exception when I bought their three albums (including the Live one) back in 2004

About to head to bed, so keeping it short...but I love Sigur Rós. I think Michael may have told me about them years ago, or one of my friends at Purdue...can't remember who. Their music is beautiful!
