I believe that would be her radio. Kept pinned to her shoulder so she doesn't have to fuss with it if she needs to react quickly to something.

Just reach up and thumb the talk button to talk to the dispatcher, and let go of it without dropping the radio if a 2 foot tall robot tries to run up and molest her.

Sure, please give credit to liasbuttissexy.

ALso, I don't know why, but your icon is cool. Maybe it's because Starbuck is checking out Mulan, or something.

Thanks much! On both counts. You know BSG?

Yah, I'm a Starbuck/Athena shipper (old school BSG, baybee!)

The new show is cool, but I haven't really gotten into it yet.

I've not actually seen the original show. The current one is seriously the best show on TV, though (in my ever-so-humble opinion). I am completely addicted.

Well then, you just haven't seen the original! You need to watch it and revel in it's file-footage-laden 70's goodness! (The SFX were expensive enough to warrant just using the same footage of ships flying around or battles going on whenever possible).

Plus, while I haven't seen the new version of the Pegasus storyline with Admiral Cain, Commander Cain, as played by Lloyd Bridges, is no doubt cooler (not to mention having a hot fighter pilot daughter, Captain Sheba).

I'm sure I will, eventually. Preferably when I'm on holiday, so school doesn't interfere. (That's hilarious. Early SFX are so amusing.)

Not knowing anything about Commander Cain, I cannot comment. Admiral Cain is pretty badass, though, if not in the most pleasant way possible. (Personally, I'm rather more into the hot, male fighter pilots....)
