I also watched the show and was bewildered at the twenty thousand jump cuts and shaky-shaky panoramic scenery shots in the episode.
Yes it's predictable, yes it's smarmy and contrite and sure it's social commentary is kind of canned, but it's better than old re-runs!
The only redeeming quality is that they show you what happened at the end to start the whole mess - thus ending the show like Dragnet and a tidy little prologue or it it epilogue?? Anyway, it's 50-50 on if I'll keep time in my fall tv schedule.
