happy 21st birthday to me~!! (PART ONE)
yes, today is my birthday! yes, it's on the same day as kawase tomoko / tommy february6 / tommy heavenly6, and YES it's the most awesome day in the world. xD
in celebration, i'm going to go out to a restaurant with my fiancé, then go buy liquor and drink lots. but in celebration that interests YOU guys more, i'm going to be uploading my favorite PV's by 21 of my favorite artists! originally, i was going to upload 21 PV's...but it's too hard to narrow it down to that many. i even had trouble narrowing down the 21 artists.

comments: i saw this on youtube and searched for it FIERCLY until i was able to get my hands on it. it's a fairly simple PV, but the song is so amazing and catchy. i started downloading more solo work by this former morning musume member, but this remains my favorite PV and song of hers by a landslide.

comments: what can i say? ayaka's voice and music speaks for itself. she's mostly known for her debut ballad "i believe," but i actually much prefer her voice with some healthy beat in the background. this song is fun, and her t-shirt/denim gives her back the youth that's sucked out of her when she's singing ballads. i love this girl!

comments: although i've never been a big fan of boa and therefore i can't really count her as a favorite artist, this song is definitely among my favorites. i has a fun sense of attitude, and i like attitude. therefore i love this song/PV! but watch out for the random martial arts at the end. it's....very random.

comments: bump of chicken is a great band! the lead vocalist has a perfect voice for their type of music. this song in particular is one of their more fun ones. ARUE is supposedly an homage to the anime character from neon genisis evangelion, rei ayanami (ARUE being her initials - R. A.). that's what originally drew me to this song, however it remains a favorite of mine for the fast-pace beat! this if a fun one to drive to. i only wish the quality of the copy i have was better...unlike the veoh preview, mine is not the DVD rip. *sigh*
