Hey local ladies! I just posted a big suffragette picnic post on the Yahoo group, but feel free to chat here if it is easier. I was hoping to find out 1. if you are coming, 2. if you are bringing chairs/decorations/games/etc. and 3. if you are bringing food to share

1. Yes, of course.
2. I have two chairs I keep for these sort of outings and I can bring them if needed. I also have a rug and quilts if we plan to picnic on the ground, tablecloths if we plan to eat off tables and I can bring luncheon napkins if they don't have to all match.
3. I can bring food if told what sort to bring, though I can't bring any prepared food that has to be refrigerated because of the distance. I thought I might try the I know that place has two full kitchens in different buildings so even ice cream or bottled 'cold drinks' would not be out of reach.

I'm not sure how much access we will have to the kitchens. We could probably get in in the morning, but everything will be locked up at noon, so it'll have to be taken out before that point. We'd probably better off with something that doesn't need to stay frozen. I can bring a big cooler with ice for stuff that just need to stay cool, but I'm afraid ice cream would never survive. Ohhh... but now you've made me want to go find some cokes in the vintage-looking glass bottles! I wonder who sells those...

No idea on food. Whatever I bring will prolly be enough for me with the distance and travel time.
I have an oldish folding chair but that's it.
