bad friday

E was sick at school yesterday with a fever, so I took him to a clinic after work. He has strep. Poor kid. Unfortunately, the timing was horrible since we already had 35 teachers who were going to be out on Friday, and 8 positions were still unfilled because there aren't enough subs, so there was no way on earth I could take the day off to stay

If it helps any, I used to get nose bleeds a lot as a kid thanks to the seasonal allergies. If you give him a weak dose of anti-histamines before bed, that might help a bit. Although, the nasal allergy meds seem to work better.
