I dunno, am I reading this wrong?cosmicmonsterAugust 25 2005, 13:57:56 UTC

MIRRORMASK
A couple years ago, at the behest of exec producer Lisa Henson, comics writer-novelist Neil Gaiman and illustrator Dave McKean holed up in her late father Jim's old London home with the aim of hatching a worthy successor to Henson's preteen fable Labyrinth. They came up with the tale of a circus family riven by mother-daughter friction and untimely illness, where the daughter enters a dangerous dreamworld that may trap her forever. (There's more, but I had to get in the shuttle so they could take me to work.)

...and that in no way hinted to actually being connected to the Labyrinth at all. Sure, the trailer looked pretty, but if there's no Jareth...then why go?
I've been wanting to go to the LoJ Masq for several years. If I recall correctly, it's not always in the same place. I can't remember if that means different cities or just different venues. But yeah, it is definitely on my list of things to do.
