Um, I just tried to search for my own fic, but nothing is found? I really don't get it. When I search with another author's name, I get all their fic, but mine can't be found. Help? D:

I'm unfortunately unsure what the problem with your search is. I know that often, the search function in LJ is somewhat unreliable, but unfortunately, we can't control this. Were your entries locked to the community when you posted them?

Oh that's too bad. And no, I never lock any of my entries here. But I just tried again and even when I search in my own fic journal, nothing comes up :/ So I guess the search function just doesn't work for me ):

One person suggested trying again in a little while, or refreshing the page. Have you used the "entries" type while searching? Apparently, it can stall for an hour or so, and then when you go back, it'll work just fine. :/ I wish I could help, as it's always been working for me!

I'm sorry. I would keep trying to re-tag my entries. But my search always ends up in an error page. It's like this even when I'm searching for entries by other authors, even when I just copy whatever you wrote on the search engine to test things out. DDD:
I would keep trying though...

I've heard that it's kind of a bug-ridden system? We apologize for this, unfortunately it SHOULD be working, and we can't fix it on our end when it isn't. But just know that the mods WILL re-tag your old entries even if you don't. They won't be ignored!

umm i'm sorry, but as i tried this, the page said 'nothing found'.
but when i'm searching for other writers, i could get only a few of their works..

I'm not sure why the LJ search feature is not working. Unfortunately, it is for most of us, so this appears to be an internal Livejournal problem that we are unable to help with. The mods will re-tag everything, if you cannot get to your own.
