Somehow I don't think Alesander is going to just go along with being bound to anyone.

Hmm...you'd think Alesander's Aunt will have bound him to her already; the blood exchange would be easy enough for her to have arranged. Can a human be bound to more than one vampire?

Somehow, I think you are right.

There's the caveat that it's not a good idea to bind someone more powerful than you to yourself; she didn't know about his talent, and couldn't take that chance. Bad things could happen. :)

Ah. So Nicodemus is assuming that Alesander is not more powerful than his mother.

Nicodemus just wasn't thinking. He's bad about that. ;)

Nicodemus realizes that Alesander is more powerful than *him*, which could be used to Alesander's advantage.
