Normally I'm excited, but I'm actually so disappointed, I may just cry. Mostly because of My Melody. What the heck did they do to her

I am so incredibly disappointed in My Melody, too. I could have dealt with her odd hair, but those yellow eyes...what were they thinking? She should be cute, not creepy :P I was going to rewig My Melody, but now I'm not sure if I'm going to get her at all. I know it's easy to just rewig and rechip, but I don't like her face up at all either and I don't want to spend $100+ for a doll I'd just end up customizing or hating. I think I might try to get her stock though because that I do love.

I know! The yellow eyes really clash with her :/ I think it's because My Melody's nose is yellow. But yeah...

I think her face-up is still somewhat cute, and I just rather not risk the chance of missing out on preorders for her or anything, seeing how I could just change the eyes if they don't change to begin with or something. I'm just hoping for the best~

With My Melody, they really messed up something that, IMO, should have been easy. I mean, she's got a simple enough design! She looked so cute in the early promo pic of her from just a little while back, but they really screwed up the colors for her! The yellow eyes really don't make any sense and look awful. They would have to change everything about her (excluding her stock outfit which is fine) for me to care about her again.

So true. I think the yellow eyes were because of her yellow nose, but still. And yeah, she really did look cuter before :/ I'm hoping there's a chance she'll come with a pink hood too so you can switch or something seeing how her hood color switches a lot... But I doubt it.

That was my thought on the eye color, too. But it's still weird to make the eyes yellow b/c of that. And I don't mind the hood being red, but it just clashes so badly w/that bright hair and those eyes. I guess if you're going to pin it on one problem, it's definitely the eyes. I could live w/the hair and the hood color, but when you combine the yellow and the pink and the red and then the orange eyebrows, it does not make for a pretty doll. :(

I agree 100%. Seriously, I can deal with everything else, but the eye color is just wrong. They should give her the dark brown like Hello Kitty. I mean, they all have black dots for eyes...except Cinnamoroll who has blue eyes, but she's going to have blue eyes so >> Or at least I think so.

Am I the only one who likes the yellow eyes? I'm not getting the doll, but I do find the eyes quite striking. Someone sell them to me, please!

I don't mind the yellow eyes as much as I don't think they fit with her. It's just way too clashy. If I end up re-chipping her, I'll let you know.
