Amazon is really raking it in this holiday season, if my own spending habits are anything to go by. I just cashed in the generous Amazon gift cards I received to buy a pair of celestial binoculars, a stargazing guide, and a giant mobile of the solar system. Yessss.

That said, sounds great! That's one big problem with the city -- you can't see the stars the way they were meant to be seen.

Um... that was a pun? No, it's fixed now. How embarrassing.

The snow in Iowa is disappointing me by melting! I can see about 50% grass out my window. However, it's supposed to snow again today.

Certainly nothing like the snow in Seattle a couple weeks back!
