Based on a prompt from mandraco from last year's fic exchange over at spn_bigpretzel: Dean's been keeping a cat in the back seat of the Impala for two weeks now.

SUMMARY: When Dean comes to pick Sam up from Stanford -- he is not alone. He has brought a creature with him.

Someone rec'd this story and I'm glad they did because it's awesome! I love how Chatty got her name and that she and Dean understand each other. Even better was Sam startng to understand her.

I saw there are supposed to be sequels so I'm off to look for them!
