As for Shonen Jump, I'd get it...I bought it just for the yu-gi-oh before they started coming out with the graphic novels and it turned out that I liked all of them except for Dragonball Z....never really was into that one...
Actually, here in UK we only have to go to highschool/comprehensive school until we're 16, and then we can do further education in college/university if we want to, or go on to work. ^^;; Nope, I'm not a brain child, it was either college or full time work. o.o;;

Angelic layer by CLAMP. It's okay. I liked it enough to bye all five volumes, but it's not even on my top 20 list. Cardcaptor Sakura by CLAMP. This I like <3 ((Tsubasa by CLAMP has the same characters but it's like, in an alternate universe...)) Chobits by CLAMP. I suggest you get this. <3 Hideki is such a little pervert and Chi is just soo cute

Hmmm... since you've already gotten a million recomendations for manga, I'll just tell you my fav.- Vampire Game. There's a little bit of everything (het., yaoi, crossdressing, incest-by-adoption-brotherly-love, magic, bishies, a main girl who's a big time brat but I like her and she's a big yaoi fangirl, male vampires that like having sex with men...)
