You get migraines so much, have you been diagnosed with them so you can have medication? As much as Imitrex's side effects are no fun, they only last a few hours and you're not in pain.
I saw a neurologist about my headaches a little while ago. I wonder if what she told me might help you. She recommended Aleve for me, or the generic Naproxen Sodium, which is over-the-counter. DH has switched to Aleve too, and we both find it helpful.
Before that I was taking Advil, which generally did not help (and can cause "feedback headaches" which my hubby was experiencing). So, if you're willing to experiment on what she recommended for me as soon as I feel a headache coming on, take two Aleve, then if it hasn't helped 2 hours later I can take two more...after that I'd have to use my rescue meds. Aleve is also an anti-inflammatory, so it would help with your muscle aches too.
