Still sickly, without a voice and almost out of Klondike bars. I'm on antibiotics now though so hopefully I'll be on the mend soon. I hoping for very soon as I'm tired of feeling too crappy to do anything but veg, it's getting beyond boring ( Read more... )

I'm compelled to reply that even though we haven't traditionally hung out so much at CosCol, your presence was indeed noticed--and in fact, missed.

Stash additions are a necessary evol, and I'm glad you added! However, a penance is required, and I hereby deem that yours shall be to produce something to make us envious! (Of course, as envy is a sin, this in turn requires us to produce something fabulous in turn for our own penance; such is Teh Costumers' Circle o' Contriteness.)

Sorry to hear that Klondike bars are AWOL, :)

Aww... thanks! It feels nice to be missed. Why haven't we hung out much anyway? We should next time!

Costumers' Circle o' Contriteness - I love it!! Okay I'll do pence I promise.

Oh and the hat you wore with your red stripey zone front gown - wow! Made of awesome! If I'd been there I would have tried to steal it. Umm... I guess I owe another pence now huh? :P

Baby steps are good till you're feeling better! And if it wasn't for the stash, what would we do when we decide we need a new bonnet with no time to go shopping?!?!

Very true... it's all the hat's fault.

There is nothing like a little fabric buying to make one feel a tiny bit better. ;) I can't wait to see what you bought!

Sorry that you're still feeling sickly... :( Sounds similar to the nasty cold I had a few weeks back, which was totally no fun! Get lots of rest and take it easy... ;)

I bought black silk taffeta and a bit of black cotton velvet. No idea what I'll do with them (well the velvet will be a hat for sure) but it was a great price and I figured black silk is always good to have around. :>

Thanks. Summer colds man - they stink!

Oh the increasing size of the stash! I understand that, having just had to re-arrange my sewing room to get all of the spreading stash back into the closet before relatives visited. I was very good in CA., I only bought a tiny bag of trim & a bit of needed corset lacing. My husband is happy that I've really been trying to downsize the stash. It's a necessity, since my permanent sewing room is going away in the ongoing house renovation/re-organization. (Our cozy little house needs a versatile use room more that I need a sewing room, boo-hoo).

I know, I just rearranged my books in my room to make more fabric space and now it's overflowing too. Time to sew!
