It must have wafted in my open windows. 14 yards of blue & white stripe cotton have just arrived. I was originally going to do a summer bustle dress with it, but decided that since it was one of the few times I'd bought enough of one fabric to do really big 18th century dress, that is what it will be. I don't know if I'll do a polonaise, though, but I'm planning to leave slits for pulling the skirt up through (mainly to avoid tripping myself!).
