I have a Gala costume! (more or less)

Yay the Fire is done!! Well expect for the hem of the underskirt (I'll get over to Brooke's to serge that one of these days) and the remainder of the embellishing (which will never actually be "finished" - we'll just run out of time :>). But the basic construction is complete and it's in wearable condition - huzzah

I've been dealing with chiffon on my Gala Empress Josephine dress, so I hear ya. My side seams are all poochy. I give up. Deal with it.
As soon as I finish sewing the sleeves, I'm taking mine to my friend's house and serge it with her overlock machine.
We are awesome, aren't we, getting these done in time?

Steam really is a wonderful thing, it's covered up a lot with my chiffon seams. :> Yay for finishing the Gala before we get to CC!! We so rock! :>
