more twilight zone weather

The weather is so strange today! The sun is shining and it is snowing! Not rain, not sleet but snow. Just flurries but in the sunlight it looks like sparkling bits of glass falling to ground. Very pretty if strange ( Read more... )

Well actually more like 5 monthes. Due to work and vacations I have to get CC sewing done by mid July. it's only taken me 2 years to get this far! :P

Oh, but just think how fabulous you will be with your QUILTED PETTICOAT. I think that is probably the most coveted article of clothing in the reenacting world. People will be so impressed with you!

Yes, you are too far to go back, and yet not far enough to see the light. But, you are also head, stays and garters above me, since I have so-far cheated, and made all my quilted petticoats from Marseilles cloth or the modern equivalent (even, gasp! rayon matelasse, to get a fake-silk shine! I hang my head in shame), so I admire not only your exquisite results, but you fortitudinous perserverance. ;-)
