"I Have Nightmares About Dropping Cakes" aka The Mother's Day Post

So, after watching a few episodes of Ace of Cakes I got it into my head that it would be really cute to make my mom a cake for Mother's Day - and decorate it all pretty with colored frosting and a piping bag (just like she used to do for our birthdays) - and then also give her Seasons 1 and 2 of Ace of CakesO.O

thanks! and....er, no :)

but then, I also didn't eat the caterpillar. I ate enough of the cakes in the making of them, I didn't need any more. Also, we never got around to cutting it while I was there, and there was no way I was going to try carrying any of that back to Riverside. I got it to Redlands, it can stay in Redlands. As I kept telling my dad. Who said "that's a lot of cake for your mom to eat all herself." (dad doesn't like chocolate cake)

me: rolls eyes "she can always take it to school and share it with the other teachers. That was kinda the idea." Mom is a kindergarten teacher - thus the children's picture book theme.
