Farewell 10

Happy New Year and New Decade! To celebrate, I went to Shelly and Tyson's. We were pretty low key most of the evening. After watching the ball drop, Tyson put in "The Hangover". It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be, but it was all right. The premise reminded me of "Dude, Where's My Car?". It was about 2:30 when that finished, so I went to

I managed not to cry during the episode. When the credits rolled, however, it seemed to sink in that it was Ten's last episode, and next thing I knew, I was crying. Hard. I NEVER react that badly to fiction.

I'm also quite relieved that I giggled at Eleven's panic about being a girl and his disappointment at still not being ginger. I haven't had any problems with Smith, and liked what I have seen so far, but I was worried that might change with the regeneration, when it actually sank in that we had to lose Ten to gain Eleven. Fortunately, it doesn't look like I'll have that problem.

I'll miss DT. I'll miss RTD and his silly/epic ideas. But I'll still be around for Smith and Moffat.
