went to practice this morning. it was awesome. the highlights, though, happened off the ice before practice got started. passing right in front of us in various stages of not-wearing-hockey-gear (lots of boys in tall socks and cotton shorts and long-sleeved TIGHT t-shirts

what, you want, like, updates about the hockey part of practice? ;D BOYS IN SHORTS, MAN. who needs anything else?

ok, um, practice: the bumpers were out in force. matt got a LONG talking to from claude after the regular part of practice ended. savvy felt kind of distant from our in-the-stands perspective - wheels and krej on the other hand were playing loose and fun, dicking around with each other A LOT. bergeron was really focused. wides grinned and me and my companions after he scored on one drill as if to say 'DID YOU SEE THAT?' which was awesome. it wasn't a long practice, but they got some good work in. seemed to be trying to keep it light.

i think our boys need the olympic break, man. (fingers crossed it does the trick.)
