I'm coming over one of these days with some new lighting fixtures for your bathroom.
The spectral power distribution on those bulbs is so shitty that I look sickly in that lighting. I'm putting in some new, full spectrum lights in your bathroom.
Now, forget about those bulbs.

how cold is it in the bathroom? It could have been that you have a bad contact in the light fixture. The cold weat6her caused some amount of shifting bringing it just into contact. As the weather changed again the contact became intermittant which would explain the buzzing. If its a florescent then the buzzing could have been caused by the ballast slowly blowing out.

Its not that cold in there. we have a skylight, but its a small bathroom and its fairly warm all the time. we'll have it looked at when we have more housework done.
