Yay! I really struggled with this topic and I think this is far from my best work, but am reasonably content with it at this point. I'm glad it's touching at least some people! :)

It's short, but I don't think that takes away from the content at all. The content itself is handled really well, which is what gives it its impact. It is a difficult topic to tackle, but I think the folk-loric nature of the telling here helps to make it comfortable for people who aren't familiar with feeling like they are somehow not what they present.
