I'm sure this is old news to at least a few of you, but I've decided not to do any more art commissions. The reasons are numerous: lack of time/energy at the moment, being generally unhappy with the quality of the stuff I do, and too many bad experiences (people fucking off once I've bought supplies or even finished the commission never to be heard

Oh, dear :( I had just told my mom I'd ask if you'd make something for my little sister too, after she saw the Wep Ronpet card you made me (which I just got, by the by, and I love!). People suck, though.

I've had similar experiences with my stained glass - I've bought supplies, and started it, and then they tell me they've changed their mind.

This is why I always make a point of taking a non-refundable deposit BEFORE I start any work (usually 50%), and won't hand over the finished product until I have the cash in my pocket.

Some people just can't be trusted.
