It's sad to even say, but the legendary Brandt castle is no longer our home. After much consideration, my parents sold it last week to the very sweet, James Van Der Beek (of Dawson's Creek fame,) and we must now move on. The pug!! Can't wait to meet him. When you become a New Yorker, you automatically begin taking your small dog with you everywhere you go, so I'm sure I will see him eventually.
It's snowed a couple of times in the past week, and we're supposed to get some more tomorrow night. Nothing huge, but it's been pretty so far.

I'm sorry about having to move. I totally understand what you mean. I've lived in my current house since I was 1 year old. My mom's been dating her boyfriend for almost a year now. They're getting pretty serious and talking about marriage and moving, which is all very exciting yet sad at the same time. (maybe you've heard of him as he's an actor himself: Jack O'Halloran. I'd say he's best known as his role of Non in the Superman movies from the 70's).
I hope that you're happy in your new home. Think of it as your home away from home! You'll have to come back and visit all of us in LA. :)

I'm really looking forward to your next book signing (as well as your new book). The only one I was able to go to was 3 years ago! But this time I have a car and a license so that should make things a bit easier ^-^
