I have impulsively decided that I need a cell phone beyond my work Blackberry (which actually runs a cell number I've had for 12 years...but now that I've been taken over by the big company I can never get it back - bummer!)....we have draconian new IT policieis going into effect next week once my email gets transferred to the new company systems ( Read more... )

Mine is 8GB, and with all the applications, I wish it had more space.

Thanks! Bret just told me go big (or go home ;-)...I think I should get the big one - probably this will be the cheapest time to upgrade it!

what applications do you use? I was just looking in the iTunes store and was baffled and shocked at all the little programs...I had NO idea. You can tell I've been a total business smartphone user for the last 5 years and it's never even occurred to me to look for personal things!

I use a calorie tracker, a thing that lets me look up nutrition info for foods, another one for restaurants (not that useful, since I don't usually eat at chains), Facebook, and Sudoku.

I can't tell you how much I love the iPhone.

J loves his iphone. He has doesn't have the one that just came out though.
Hopefully they've worked out some of the bugs in the new one.
I'm debating on getting one too. I've got a Blackberry for work now and then a razer for my personal phone.
Enjoy it!

I went ahead and good one :-)

HOnestly it was love in about 5 minutes! The things that I was uncertain about on from the reviews all seem to be fixed (some program things, needing to use a special headset or adaptor etc). Bret is jealous and wishes he'd gotten one instead of his BB earlier this summer!

OOh fun gadgets! DH is in the electronics business and always has the latest and greatest, while my cell is straight out of 2002. At least we have nice HDTV's at home :)

Hope you enjoy it!
