High School Reunions

We had our tenth last night. I went half out of morbid curiosity and half out of a genuine desire to see what my sort-of-friends (i.e. the people with whom I had a lot of classes and was friendly with within the confines of the school building but never hung out with) had been doing for the past ten years

Hee. I missed mine (it was in November) because I live 3000 miles away and was not coming home for it. Plus I've gained a ton of weight in the last few years, and they are not seeing me until I'm svelte again. But I kind of didn't want to see people, because I have trouble thinking of a lot of the dim kids I went to school with holding jobs and fulfilling responsibilities. Only 3 of my high school friends are married.

I'd say, if you didn't totally hate high school, you should go.
I DID totally hate high school, but I still think I'll go to mine (in 2011, hee). I think I'll be in a happy place, and I don't think everyone else will be, and it'll be mildly fun to mock. And see friends.
