Well first of all whoever says personality is lying, you have to like what they look like in order to be drawn to them. When you see someone on the street yournot just ranomly going to go up to someoen ,"hey i like your personality"
You have to like what you see before you talk to them.

Yes personality does play a role in it but looks are the first thing that draws you to someone, then you meet them and find out their personality.

What i am saying is NOT shallow its just the truth!

Just cuz i notice them doesnt mean i'm going to like them and want a relationship with the person. Personality has a way bigger effect.
As long as i dont find there looks totally offencive.

I agree with your friend who said that yeah personality is good and all, but its looks that draw you to them first. I mean, if you're not attracted to somebody, you're not really likely to go up and strike a conversation right? I know from experience that its hard to keep a relationship going when you're not physically attracted to the person, however shallow that may sound its true. So thats my opinion on the whole thing...personality counts for a lot, but in the end its looks that start everything basically.
