Tire swings make me die.

Today I flew up to Willows (KWLW) which is 62 nautical miles NW of KEDU (my airport). I did all the flying on the way up there, but on the way back my instructor made me put on foggles (so I can only see the instruments, nothing outside) and he helped me use the instruments to go on some course that he decided. I'm going to stay in my bed for the rest of the quarter so that I don't get anyone else sick and/or pissed at me for some other reason. Also, my phone is broken so attempts at contacting me will be futile.

I am tired. Also, drinking is lame, I'm not doing it anymore. EVAR.

I just bought season passes to Boreal and Soda Springs. Crappy little bunny hill resorts, but I don't think I'm ready to tackle the real ones yet. I only have to go 8 days for the season pass to pay for itself, so I think it'll be worth it in the end.

ALSO KATIE: I get 20% off Park City Mountain resort if I show them my Boreal season pass.

Since school started, pretty much the only times I can fly are Monday and Wednesday before 9:30. That would be fine with me, as that's when I usually fly, except that now apparently someone else has a similar schedule to mine and has taken all of the Monday and Wednesday mornings. LAME.

Today it was really windy so when I went to the airport to fly my instructor asked me if I'd rather just do ground work today (aka not fly) or if I still wanted to go up even though it was windy. This is my pretty new dress that I got to wear when I'm in DC. Yay! Now if only high heels didn't hurt so badly.... On a positive note, since it'll be freezing cold, this dress is long enough to wear long johns underneath :)
