Wrecked

Started The Hunger Games on Thursday and finished Mockingjay tonight.

I feel wrecked o_O, but ready for fic, if there's fic to be had.

Wow -- you mainlined them! I read Hunger Games and Catching Fire back-to-back, but then had to wait several months for Mockingjay to be released.

No wonder you're wrecked!

I think I would have gone NUTS if I had to wait for Mockingjay. I got a Kindle for my birthday so I bought all three right off because I've heard so much about them.

I loved the books. Mockingjay broke my heart though. I knew more characters were going to die, but I wasn't expecting Prim, although I get that her death needed to happen. But still...broke my heart.

Prim and Finnick. Actually I'm with you -- Prim I could see as being somewhat necessary, but Finnick was just...almost too much, to be honest.

And I really couldn't decide between Gale and Peeta. I had kinda been a Gale girl since the start. :) I think it would have been interesting, though, if we got to see parts of this book from Peeta's point of view, as damaged as he was.

I never read any of the Twilight books; this was kind of my Twilight, I suppose. :) I hope they choose to make movies of them, but the killing and deaths might be a bit hard for cinema.

OH!!!! I was going to talk about the movie but forgot. They are making it into a movie. I love the books but I don't know how they're going to make it look...not stupid. You know? Like with the mutts
