I'll look like a complete stalker for popping up here all of sudden but.... OMFG that's gorgeous! *g* I wish I knew all the right words to express myself and my impression of your art.. and not only this one but also the others I quickly went through here on your journal. And to think you made it only with basic drawing instruments! I know I'm just someone who knows nothing about art and such but from what I saw, you are truly talented *g*
Also, your Jin looks so vivid it's almost difficult to believe it's a drawing and not a photo O.o And as a Kame fan I can't leave my bias behind and not mention him in my comment so... ♥ I'm totally in love with the look and the fact you included the tiny mole at his right eye. And just everything.. ehm... here's I'm taking a full fangirl!mode direction so let's leave it as it is LOL
Oh my, I didn't expect anyone to actually stop and view this...thank you so much! *hug* I'm so happy that a KAT-TUN fan found this and commented on it, as I wasn't sure I managed to pull of their portraits. I'm really happy that you seem to see them in the drawing---especially Jin, I had soooo much trouble with him!
And I am so very sorry that it's taken me so long to reply. Thank you so very much for stopping by, my one and only creepy stalker! :D I've never had one of those before. Lol.
Seriously though, thank you once again for such a lovely comment. I think it made my day. :)
Awww. Thank you so very much again! *hug* And I love, love, love, LOVE your fics!!!! I quite frequently go back and re-read them. :)
Oh and so very, very sorry for such a late reply! I've never really have gotten lj down all that well and I never seem to see who comments on my entries unless I view the actual entry. Slow me...lol.
I definitely plan to keep drawing them. Since they are my favourite subjects to look at after all...
wow this is brilliant! I love this style of grey-scale/black and white drawings. Your's are really superb. You are truly talented. There's just so much detail and depth to it it always amazes me how people can create so many levels of light and showdow
Creating a drawing like this takes a lot of time, concentration, attention to detail and several, several layers of graphite built up from lightest to darkest.
Jin looks EXACTLY like Jin in this drawing! That is amazing, and also gorgeous. Jin is gorgeous. You did him 100% justice. Kame's not entirely Kame, but still a lot more recognizable compared to other works from other artists. I do very much like Kame's hair in this, as well as his nose and his lips. I think you did the expression really well, too, both on his and Jin's face. Lovely work!
Wow. I never expected such a wonderful comment!!! I'm so happy that a fellow fan thinks it looks like Jin! Especially since this was the first time I ever drew either one of them. :) I had so much trouble with Jin's portrait in this piece, so I'm really really glad I managed to pull it off.
As for Kame. Well, even though he's my bias, I find him damn near impossible to draw. Lol. I don't know what it is about him, but I can never quite capture him...and I fear I never will. :( Oh well, I always did like a good challenge!
Once again, thanks for stopping by and commenting!
You will definitely get Kame right the way you want to one day, I know it! Because you're crazy talented and it's only logical that you'll draw him perfectly, so keep it up and don't quit, okay? :D

But I won't give up. I'll keep drawing him until I get him right.
Thanks for the encouragement! :)
