Quandaries.

Do I close the quilting bee at nine people? Or go up to eleven?

I'm trying not be influenced by Spinal Tap humor in this matter.

Also, do I want to make a hexagon quilt? Like, in my lifetime? Does anyone know if it's even worth the trouble?

I'm working on a Carrie Nation quilt right now. This is ironic because, temperance? Whaaaat?

I don't have advice on the numbers, but I can offer input on the hexagons. I'm working on one, and it's super fun in that it's hand work, so you can work on it away from your machine, which can make you feel more social. But I started it two years ago, and I can't imagine I'll be done piecing the top any year soon unless I stop doing everything else and concentrate on that. And that's before the quilting. I'm okay with that, though, because I like that I can put it down and pick it up anytime, and work on other projects in between. If you go that route, just be sure you chose fabrics that you're not going to get sick of looking at for a long time!
