A bitter drink to swallow
I'm not sure that I could be anymore disappointed than I am right now. The Lt came into EDC today to let Wendy and myself know that we didn't get the Senior dispatcher position. I have to admit, I wanted to cry but I didn't. I held it together pretty good. What I wanted to do was scream and stomp my feet while whining how unfair the whole thing

I am so sorry about this, and I think it freakin' sucks... I wish I could go back in time and kick Lisa's ass for you... ::sigh:: ...and... YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE! Shoot. Just because someone can memorize all the right answers doesn't make them right for the job. I still think it should have been YOU and not ME!!!!! ::grrrrrrr:: blech.
I don't mind the big glass of Chocolate Milk! Jimmy would be saying, Oh gosh... I sure could use a glass right now... we are both foodies. Mmmmmmmmmmm Chocolate Milk. Comfort food of the liquid type! :) Eric loves it too. Who doesn't love Chocolate Milk?
I hope everything went well with the social worker...
and as for your visitors???? Shoot! I am excited for you!!!!
