I'm fifty now. I can stop shaving my legs, right? There's a statute of limitations for that, right?

I stopped when i went traveling a few years ago, and it is a really liberating feeling just letting my body be me and not trying to conform to stereotypical feminine beauty standards. On the other hand, i also know it pretty much busts my ability to pass when i am wearing shorts. But on the third hand, getting older means i care much less about passing too, so it balances out. On the fourth hand, i only ever wear shorts when i am cycling long distance, so most of the time i actually have to interact with other people it wouldn't make a difference shaved or not.

The "i'll never go swimming again" comment continues to apply.

Funnily enough, the reason I shaved my legs that led to this post was that I'm hosting a trans-only swimming event this weekend. :)
