100 TV Shows: 2 Broke Girls
Ner-do-well waitress Max Black meets former-rich-girl Caroline Channing - just anyother victim of her father´s ponzi-scheme. They not only work together in a diner in Brooklyn but also start living together and working on a Cupcake business to sell "Max´s Homemade Cupcakes" - if they ever make enough money to start it in the first place.
I just watched the season-finale and I gotta say: I love this show...
It has Kat Denning who is awesome and who I adored ever since "Raising Dad" (which, as I recently found out, had Riley Smith in it - a fact that had me reevaluating my entire teenage-years...) and definitly not enough Nick Zano - the thing I liked best about "What I like about you".
It also has horses in backyards, tons of jokes about hippsters, biting sarcasm and characters that are just weird enough that I would love to spent well...not a weekend but maybe an hour or two with them.
And have I mentioned that I really like the jokes? I mean, I laugh about pretty much anything but "2 Broke Girls" has me sitting there giggling away and constantly thinking "That´s exactly what I/Kat/crimson_jay_o/any of my other girl friends whould have said!" Which is disturbing in an entirely new way...
And I like that most of the ideas are not something that make me think "Wait, where have I seen that before...oh, right FRIENDS!!" (seriously TBB people that wedding thing??) while at the same time managing to bring back memories of everything that is awesome about "FRIENDS" - in a totally good way, of course!
It also makes me want to bake...
